Dorchester Father ID'd As Victim Of Fatal Double Shooting: Police

The deceased victim of a double shooting has been identified by police, officials say.

Two people were shot on Monday, Feb. 13 around 8:10 p.m. on Dewey Street in Dorchester, as reported by Daily Voice. Both victims were taken to local hospitals where 31-year-old Paris Quilter was pronounced dead.

Quilter, who attended City on A Hill Charter Public School, was a beloved father and family member, according to his Facebook profile and posts memorializing him. 

"Family gatherings will never be the same without you," one Facebook post read.

The circumstances around the incident are still under investigation by Boston detectives.
