Two people were shot on Monday, Feb. 13 around 8:10 p.m. on Dewey Street in Dorchester, as reported by Daily Voice. Both victims were taken to local hospitals where 31-year-old Paris Quilter was pronounced dead.

Quilter, who attended City on A Hill Charter Public School, was a beloved father and family member, according to his Facebook profile and posts memorializing him.
"Family gatherings will never be the same without you," one Facebook post read.
